nycmidnight screenwriter’s challenge 2006

Posted on Thursday 14 September 2006

Congratulation to Vijay who made it to the final of the nycmidnight screenwriter’s challenge 2006!

You can check it out yourself: Group 13 results. The theme for this group was “Soldier(s) drama”, and he finished first in his group. Not bad!

The second round (and final) will be on September 22th 11:59PM EST. Let’s hope for the best…

Here is Vijay’s script, called Butchery, if you want to read it (why wouldn’t you?).

Butchery’s synopsis: Five soldiers in Iraq come across the body of an insurgent. One wants to decapitate him to send a message to other insurgents. Another wants to stop him. What’s a body ultimately worth?

Again, congratulation Vijay!
